ABEC REALTY STORY
Resort Realty was originally founded in 1989 by the Becnel family with the main
focus being on pre-construction sales. With years of phenomenal success, the successful
launch of many buildings and a focus on expanding our original focus the decision
was made to change our name to ABEC in 2004. In order to alleviate confusion between
our previous name and others who had similar names, better brand ourselves for advertising
and marketing and to make all aspects of our operation a more cohesive operation
we are now known as ABEC Realty and are a proud member of the ABEC family. The ABEC
family consists of ABEC Realty which conducts all pre-construction real estate transactions
for the Becnel family developments as well as all real estate transactions for buyers
and sellers in Destin and the surrounding area. ABEC Resorts consists of the on-site
offices for the rental management for Silver Beach Towers, Silver Shells and The
Palms of Destin. ABEC Resorts is a year round full time service oriented business
that leases property for owners wishing to rent their vacation home while they are
not in residence. ABEC also maintains an accounting department, service department
and an association management company. Our family of companies is varied and we
are tasked with many things but the primary focus is on customer service and striving
to maintain excellence in everything that we do.
ABEC REALTY TEAM
Each member of our Real Estate Team are full time residents and realtors who realize
that the vast majority of our clients are from out of town and are therefore unable
to be involved in the market on a daily basis. Simply put; Real Estate is what we
do everyday all day it is our life and it is not a part time Endeavour or something
that we take lightly. We pride ourselves on helping buyers, sellers or “just lookers”
find their place in paradise; whether that is a single family home, condominium,
empty lot or a commercial building. While there have been many real estate agents
that got out of the business or made changes for a variety of reasons the professional
staff of ABEC Realty is still here and we are going to be here with you and for
you; this new website was designed with you in mind and is just one more way that
we are working to make your buying or selling experience easier and more stress
free.
